AFIP Launches F&I ProShop!
The AFIP F&I ProShop launched today! Stop by http://proshop.afip.com to take a look! The new ProShop features an Amazon.com-style shopping cart and our new AFIP Merchandise section where AFIP Certified F&I professionals can buy AFIP Certified-logo and other AFIP-logo merchandise (right now we've got a selection of nameplates to match any office decor, but if there's something you'd like to see, just let us know by replying to this email).
How the ProShop Affects You
DEALERS - Now that we've transitioned to the ProShop, dealership employees who order from our website, rather than through the company offering AFIP Certification, will have to have a discount code to take advantage of any discounts you were offered by AFIP's Industry Members. Not all items are subject to discount. Call your field rep for more details. Please note that the only way to get a discount is through one of AFIP's Industry Members. Check out our Industry Member Roster for more details.
FIELD REPS - Field representatives who work for AFIP Industry Members need to contact their training or AFIP coordinator for instructions. If you work in a company that simply asks dealers to order the course using your company's name to obtain a discount, you'll now need to distribute your discount code.
If you work for a company that places orders on behalf of your dealers, whoever is in charge of placing the orders needs to set up a wholesale account with AFIP. You do this by going to http://proshop.afip.com, creating a standard account, and then emailing AFIP to let us know we need to change the status of your account. Only paid AFIP Industry Member employees can create wholesale accounts.
CORPORATE MEMBERS & PARTNERS - If you're a paid AFIP Industry Member, a dealer association or dealer partner, you'll need to have either a discount code or one or more wholesale accounts to receive your discount. (Dealer partners may use the code of the Industry Member who services them or set up their own and usually qualify for special accounts, similar to wholesale accounts, that let them place their own orders corporately and still receive any discounts they were offered.)
Wholesale accounts are the best method because they let you track your order history. However, if you have a wholesale account, you must place orders for your clients yourself. To get a wholesale account, go to http://proshop.afip.com, create a standard account, and then email AFIP to let us know we need to change the status of your account. Only paid AFIP Industry Member or dealer associations and dealer partners can create wholesale-style accounts.
Discount codes are a way to give your clients and customers discounts without placing the order yourself. If you haven't already been notified of your discount code, please contact AFIP and we'll set one up for you. Your discount code won't allow you to track your orders, but you can distribute it to your dealers as you see fit. You can print it in your literature, post it on your website or email signature, put it in your ads, etc. This is your code to use as you please. You can change the code at any time by contacting AFIP. |
